The Office of Budget Responsibility’s website doesn’t come up very well in searches on “Office for Budget Responsibility”, the widely used slightly wrong version of its name “Office of Budget Responsibility” or, less surprisingly, “OBR”. Even allowing for its newness, that’s not terribly impressive – and also annoying when I’m trying to find it.
So here is a public service announcement to myself: the Office for Budget Responsibility’s website is here.
(If you’re interested in search engine optimisation matters note how the OBR website’s URL doesn’t help it come out high in searches such as these in the way that it would if it had “office” in its URL.)
