It’s a full moon tonight – so there’s a Tory MP who thinks your blood won’t clot

Every time I learn something more about Conservative MP David Tredinnick it gets more incredible.

Yesterday there was this:

Bosworth’s alternative therapy-loving MP has been blasted by an autism expert for claiming homeopathy can cure the condition.

But that’s quite in line with his previous views, such as:

MP claims solution to A&E crisis is alternative medicine…

The Tory MP for Bosworth raised the issue with the Department of Health saying: “To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what assessment he has made of the potential contribution of regulated complementary and alternative medical practitioners to reducing demands on the NHS.”

After all who needs an ambulance if instead an ambulance once passed outside your house and the road has a memory of it…

But also:

Mr Tredinnick said blood didn’t clot when there was a full moon and more recently [has] advocated the integration of astrology into the NHS.
