Two particularly welcome new Lib Dem members

Amongst the 7,000 plus new Lib Dem members since last Thursday, there are a multitude of different stories. But two new members in particular are worth highlighting as a positive sign of the sorts of people the party is now able to reach out (or perhaps that should be, once again able to reach out to):
