What to say about Pizza Express Lavender Hill? Electricity! That’s what to say.
Like many other places, Pizza Express has got into offering and boasting about having free WiFi. But it also (unadvertised, unboasted) provides that other key ingredient to keep a modern gadget fanatic fed: electricity, courtesy of these nicely located power points (in through the entrance, head towards the left hand wall next to the kitchen):

Also to note: very, very tight squeeze to fit into the male toilet cubicle. Glad I went before I had eaten. No interesting handles by the way (go to Cowcross Street Pizza Express for that) and the tight fit is not made up for by Pizza Express Southgate style luxuriously wide corridors on the way.
I may try to talk less about Pizza Express toilets after future visits.
So that is 27 down, 111 (or thereabouts) to go.
