Liberal Democrats in Islington are used to the appearance of one Lib Dem MEP at events, viz Sarah Ludford of this parish.
However, tonight in addition to the traditional regular features of a Liberal Democrat social there was also one departure from tradition. There was still an MEP present, but this time it was not Sarah Ludford, but Rebecca Taylor.
Technically not quite an MEP yet, she will shortly be taking over from Diana Wallis. She will also be increasing the ranks of Tweeting Lib Dem Parliamentarians by one.
