It arrived in my inbox this morning. I didn't have to do a thing! But it's rather 'so what?' And more than two screens long.
Indeed Peter: why isn't it going to all Members' email addresses? And why have I spent 10 minutes failing to access it (no form visible or accessible)?
Rachel: as it's something new that hasn't started yet, how do you know whether or not you'll be getting it? Likewise, where does it say that the only way to get it is via filling in the 'quiz'/survey? As I said to John, it seems to me you are making several assumptions (it's already started, you've not had it, it can only be signed up to via the survey), some or all of which might be wrong and where in each case you've gone for assuming the worse. I'm a liberal, so each to their own and all that, but I think it's a shame if people decide to immediately plunge in with thinking the worst possible of what other party colleagues are up to.
Well, no,it's logic.I am a Party member, and I am not getting Nick's letter automatically : I'm having to answer some quiz in order to "earn" it, and frankly I am allergic to those. It should come to me as of right.
John L Oakes I don't know if it is or isn't, but then it doesn't say anywhere that it isn't going to all members, so isn't it a bit unduly negative to assume that it won't be?
Peter Tyzack The website, with the business survey, isn't just an internal site aimed at members, so not quite sure what your comment is a reaction to? Why wouldn't a site that members of the public will visit offer such an option?
