Unionist MP deals yet another blow to Tory hopes on boundary charges

They’re dead, but some Conservatives are still clinging on to the corpse hoping for a miracle.

I’m talking about, of course, the Parliamentary boundary changes.

Another confirmation of their death comes in today’s edition of The Times [£]:

David Cameron’s slim hopes of pushing through boundary changes that would deliver the Tories 20 extra safe seats have been dealt a blow by the Ulster Unionists…

William McCrea, the DUP MP for South Antrim, said he would not back the changes.
