Regular readers of this blog may have got the impression that spoons are bad, aiding and abetting crime around the world.

I know this is an unfair characterisation of the world’s spoons, many of whom are very hard-working helping out front line public services such as school canteens, hospital wards and providing police with a cup of tea that tastes just right.
