It Just Occurred to Me: The Reminiscences & Thoughts of Chairman Humph
This slim volume – under 200 pages of generously sized and spaced text – is one long rambling succession of anecdotes. Funny, charming, occasionally enlightening but best read in short bites of entertainment.
There is in it much more about jazz than I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, yet despite me being a great fan of the latter and mostly uninterested in the former (unless it is being performed by one of my nephews), I still found it a fun read.
Plus there’s a great scrambled eggs recipe.
