Abbey customer services: more genius

Oh dear.

So I complain to Abbey about them breaking their own rules by taking too long to respond to my original complaint along with a range of absurdities, including one of their complaints departments refusing to take phone calls from another of their complaints departments (best not think about the internal politics going on there).

And what do they do?

Yes, they break their own rules again by once again failing to respond within their own deadlines.

I think they have too much irony in the water at Abbey HQ.
