Harold Wilson’s resignation statement

An interesting interview from history – Harold Wilson’s comments on resigning as Prime Minister.

I wonder how Wilson’s judgement on his time in office will compare with David Cameron’s view of his own record when his time too comes to an end. You can certainly take rather a large amount of Wilson’s opening comments and with just a slight edit or two imagine Cameron saying them about himself.
