Oh dear. The Guardian seems to be having some trouble with maths today:

In an Observer poll just over a year ago, an overwhelming majority of SDLP delegates at their annual conference voted in favour of merging with the republic’s largest party, Fianna Fáil. Out of 40 delegates surveyed, 29% said they wanted to join forces with Fianna Fáil. [My emphasis]

If I was the editor, I’d go and bite some ankles. Nothing like having some teeth in your leg to improve your arithmetic I find. Woof woof.
