A gem from Jonathan Calder today. Turns out he was the ward councillor where Martin Johnson grew up. So it’s thanks to Jonathan that the pavements were in a good state, as a result of which Martin Johnson didn’t get broken ankles and legs at an early age, as a result of which he was able to lead England to a World Cup victory.
