Know a piece of left-over unused land in London? £5,000 prize on offer
Excellent to see the Forgotten Spaces initiative from the Royal Institute of British Architects. Prizes of £5,000, £2,000 and £1,000 are available for people who identify an unused site and come up with an idea for how to put it to use.
The competition quotes the clever example of what’s been done with the previously derelict space under the A40 flyover. It’s now been put to use as a sports centre.
So get your thinking caps on or visit the National Theatre between 24 May and 4 July to see the best ideas in an exhibition.
