To you, it’s an empty pavement; to me, it’s a miracle – encore

Clearly it’s the season for ridiculously long-running sagas to be sorted out, for I have just spotted that another long-damaged utility box has finally been removed.

This one is on Hornsey Lane, Crouch End and, as with the one in Westminster, it involved a long and tortuous process including the local council (Haringey Council this time) saying that the wrong firm owned the box.
