Following the news that 111 Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidates are backing Tim Farron to be Lib Dem leader, today brings the news that Simon Hughes is also backing him:

A former Party President, Simon Hughes has also himself previously run for the party’s leadership – in 1999 and 2006.
