The tweeting pothole

Very clever:

The Tweeting Pothole is an initiative launched by Telemetro Reporta, an influential news show in Panama City, in collaboration with ad agency P4 Ogilvy & Mather. As the city streets were in bad shape, which caused great inconvenience to those who drive on them every day, Telemetro Reporta decided to point out the hassle they give people to those directly responsible.

A device was installed inside the potholes on the most damaged streets in the city. Every time a car runs over one of the devices, they tweet a complaint to the Department of Public Works’ Twitter account in order to draw attention to the huge problem and encourage them to do something about it.
