What odds this 1983 general election stunt will get a revival?

During the 1983 general election, the Conservatives pulled of a successful media stunt by purchasing several thousand copies of Labour’s general election manifesto and distributing them to Conservative Party candidates and party workers.

(This was the Labour manifesto that was so left wing it got known as ‘the longest suicide note in history’ thanks to Labour MP Gerald Kaufman).
