An excellent shredder: Swordfish 1000XCD 10 Sheet Cross Cut ‘Space-Saver’

A common problem with choosing such equipment is that for the cost involved you want something that will last years but reviews are written after days or weeks. So as I have now owned one of these for nearly two years…

It’s a good solid build which is still working well and with very little sign of wear or tear. There are a couple of minor blemishes in the design. Pulling out the paper tray often results in a bit of knocking around of the tray which causes some paper to spill out. If you feed too many sheets in, jamming the machine by mistake, it can be much harder to unjam than other shredders I have used.

But despite that I’d happily recommend this to anyone else. Mine has given me two years of good service and looks set for many more.
