Confirmed: Stephen Lloyd wants to stand again in Eastbourne

I’ve reported before the remarkable grassroots campaign in Eastbourne to persuade Stephen Lloyd, the former Lib Dem MP for the seat (defeated in 2015) to stand again:

This isn’t a roll call of Lib Dem members and poster sites but rather the petition has been propelled by independent constituents who miss the hard work and dedication of Stephen.

The campaign has been successful, because Stephen Lloyd has now announced he wishes to do just that:

It is not known if Stephen has won over one constituent resident I met last time I was campaigning down on the coast:

Sorry, Stephen Lloyd, this one was a 'not Lib Dem'. They don't like our tolerance on immigration #LibDems
