How could a Hollywood movie released way back in 1982 have predicted Brexit?

Well, first recall how the plans for Brexiters are not exactly working out. Liam Fox, for example, was saying last summer that a Brexit deal would be really easy: “The free trade agreement that we will have to do with the European Union should be one of the easiest in human history”. Now he’s warning, there is a 60% chance of no deal being struck.
