Saturday at Liberal Democrat conference, Brighton

Lovely weather, lots of new party members and even a few journalists spotted in Brighton today for the Liberal Democrat federal conference.

The name of the person who revealed to me today that they have not read 101 Ways To Win An Election, will remain secret between me, them and the stern letter going to their whip.

  1. It would seem that journo’s pick up info that is freely available and then class it as a scoop. As you say the Press Association has it on file for them to just pick up and copy. Lazy. Also though true it can be distorted by who got the info first which is reported by the PA. then passed on to lazy journo’s who then get that distorted info. As you say that book you mention has as secondary to its title how falsehood, distortion propaganda is spread in the global media.
Where we are concerned yes use the media to pass our message across but we should also use our focus leaflets to send direct to the voter our policies to clarify our plans ideas etc.
    Thanks for your help
