A brilliant graph, featuring Jacob Rees-Mogg and the declining Conservatives

This captures the state of British politics and the shrinking Conservative majority very nicely:

Jacob Rees-Mogg and the Conservative majority

Although that graph with the mountains and murder rate still tops this.

  1. Rees-Mogg shows his true colours – not as an entertaining eccentric complete with Nanny, but as an arrogant, over-entitled product of our independent schools looking down on all the plebs, something that’s very unfortunate for all the decent citizens that the same system also produces.

  2. He can laugh his head off and feel relaxed for whatever happens to the country and the people who live in it he will be secure. It is to his financial benefit for the situation to go on as long as possible.

  3. Dominic Cummings and the hard right Tories have one huge weakness, one major blind spot – their arrogance! And that encourages me, because there’s growing evidence that a lot of people are finding this more and more distasteful.
