Pizza Express: Leadenhall Market, London

Go downstairs and view the cutlery.

No really. Despite the historic view outside, it’s the downstairs cutlery that deserves a view.

And you can saunter downstairs safe in the knowledge that cars are banned from driving in through the front door of the restaurant:
It's Pizza O'Clock
Then, if you’re not a vegetarian pick choices from the menu containing chicken and cheese (in deference to the first two professions which started congregating at Leadenhall Market in the fourteenth century).

Then take a look at the cutlery downstairs once more.

Then order a chocolate glory and see what the latest ingredient variation is (tonight’s was a mini-ice cream cone, planted in between two scoops of ice-cream at, shall we say, an unfortunate angle).

Anyway, that’s 13 down and 115 to go (on the increasingly unlikely assumption that the total count is still accurate, but I think I’m a little way off having to worry too much about that…).
