The children who deliver my papers always (for years, despite changes of personnel) leave me a Xmas card as their subtle (!) way of suggesting a Xmas tip might be in order. This year my Sunday deliverer described herself as ‘Your Sunday delivery consultant’! I sent her her tip (of course), but as we’ve never met I pointed out that we’d never had a ‘consultation’ (whatever that might be about) and warned her against ‘corporate speak’.
