  1. Beats my similar experience in Waltham Forest aeons ago:
    Woman: I’m nine months pregnant and the baby could come any moment.
    Me: I’ll do a deal with you. Get into my car and if the baby doesn’t start coming, I’ll take you to vote. If it does start, I take you to Whipps Cross Hospital instead.

    She accepted. It didn’t come.
