Lib Dems contest both council by-elections as contests restart

We’re back to council by-elections, with two held this week, both in Waltham Forest, London. Good to see both having Liberal Democrat candidates as appearing regularly on the ballot paper is an important part of building up a larger core of people who regularly vote Lib Dem.

The Lib Dem candidate was Arran Angus:

Lea Bridge, Waltham Forest

Naomi McCarthy stood for the Liberal Democrats.

These by-election results round-ups cover principal authority by-elections. See my post The danger in celebrating parish and town council wins for your own party for the reasons to avoid straying too often into covering town, parish or community council by-elections.
