  1. yet the national media are reporting Labour as the alternative.. we need to get in there quick and change that, as it is the easy way for the media to support the Tory candidate by dividing the opposition.

  2. I am a Labour member. I am not looking for an argument but your party came 3rd in 2019 with half the number of votes Labour got and now you have become the favourites to win . How has that come about? Also in yesterday’s Guardian there is a picture of your candidate holding a leaflet showing a bar chart . Why is it referring to the Lib Dems being 2nd when you came third 2 years ago ?

    • We finished second across the constituency in the most recent elections – those in May. You can also judge our chances by the relative poster displays in the constituency – lots of Lib Dem posters and very few Labour ones. Or by the reports from journalists who have been to the seat and spoken with voters, or indeed the comment by Labour MP Yasmin Qureshi to Times Radio that Labour were “never going to win” North Shropshire and that the Lib Dems have an “opportunity to do so”.
