By-elections: Brent and Barnsley, local and Parliamentary

Chunilal Hirani leaflet - Kenton ward, Brent CouncilI went over this morning to help Chunilal Hirani and the team in Kenton (London Borough of Brent) where there’s a by-election coming up on Thursday. (Regular readers may recall Brent is the council where Labour is taking an usual approach to saving money: How do you plan cuts? With an overnight trip to a luxury hotel of course).

Polling day is Thursday so there’s still time to go and give some help to the campaign. Details are on Flock Together.

Meanwhile, it’s good to see that Dominic Carman has been selected to fight the Barnsley Central by-election. Having helped Dominic with some artworking and online work for his general election campaign against Nick Griffin in Barking & Dagenham, I’ve been very impressed with his ability to take the fight successfully to the BNP. It is great to see him continue his active campaigning for the party.

Best of luck Dominic in the by-election due on 3rd March.
