Handy tip for male political bloggers: don’t call women thick
Oh dear. Scottish Labour councillor Terry Kelly seems to have landed himself in a spot of bother on his blog:

The Press Association reports a less than fulsome backing for their councillor by a Labour spokesman: “His blog makes clear that comments are not the views of the Labour Party or anyone other than himself.”
