Pizza Express: Benbow House, Bankside, London

One simple tip if you visit the Pizza Express in Benbow House, Bankside: head up the stairs. Often heading up (or down) the stairs when you enter a Pizza Express takes you to the pokey floor of the establishment. Not so in Benbow House, because it takes you up into a light area with lovely views out over the Thames and of St Paul’s Cathedral:

One other tip: when you get to the top of the stairs, don’t stop but walk towards the far end, for the tables there are more spacious. And then enjoy the pizza.
