I didn’t pick the fluorescent William Hague lookalike garden gnome

Today was the now traditional pre-Christmas Haringey Liberal Democrats minced pies and mulled wine, featuring – of course – a Lib Dem raffle. GLA candidate Dawn Barnes trapped me in the corner:

With the result that I had no choice:

Haringey raffle tickets

And, hooray, I was a winner. I didn’t pick the fluorescent William Hague lookalike garden gnome (seriously, but then I do already have an official Asda 2001 general election William Hague gnome in the garden, alongside the Charles Kennedy and Tony Blair ones). Instead I went for the shortbread.

Oh and some politics was talked:

Lynne Featherstone, Dawn Barnes, Jonathan Fryer and Mark Pack
