Labour candidate suspended over ‘kill Justin Bieber’ jibe

A Labour council candidate has been suspended from the party after a series of offensive Facebook and Twitter postings including one in which he made a facetious death threat to teenage pop star Justin Bieber.

James Brinning, a 19-year-old student at Cardiff University, also wrote racist, sexist and gratuitously offensive remarks on the social networking sites, as well as advocating violence against David Cameron and Nick Clegg. [WalesOnline]
