Brian Paddick gets it right in Mayor of London TV debate
It may sound obvious, but in previous Mayor contests the Liberal Democrat candidates have often been rather reluctant to say this on national TV:

Brian’s quite right – and it’s great that he’s used coverage on national TV to say this.
