The Globe Restaurant and Bar, as the name subtly hints, is less a cafe and more a restaurant and bar. It is perched on top of the Crowne Plaza on Shoreditch High Street and from its seventh floor windows there is a great view out, including the Gherkin, the Shard and St Paul’s:
Aside from the view, the Globe Restaurant is a fairly standard hotel restaurant and bar. The bar itself has only a very small outside area and the restaurant does not have its tables aligned so as to maximise views out of the window. In other words, best visited at quiet times, but if you do the views make it all worthwhile.
You can see all my cafés with view in London here.
