£100 million green investment kicks in

News via the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office of another step in the Lib Dem greening of our economy:

The Deputy Prime Minister today set out how the renewable energy sector is delivering vital investment and jobs to the UK, as Dagenham-based firm Closed Loop Recycling announces plans to double its capacity, creating and safeguarding 100 jobs.

The Deputy Prime Minister also announced a government contract by UK Green Investments (based at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills) to provide £100 million of initial funding to Equitix and SDCL…
