Haringey Action Day: the chocolateBerrylands Focus leaflet for Sushila AbrahamCourtesy of Haringey and Kingston (home of the fun canvassing routes), here are some key statistics from campaigning in the snow today:

  • Number of people in when the weather is bad: lots
  • Number of brownie points bestowed by the public for our willingness to go out in the snow: plenty
  • Number of people won over by my enthusiasm for slip-on snow grips: numerous, including several residents (you too can see what all the fuss is about here)
  • Number of high quality chocolate brownies eaten: one (see photo; thank you Dawn Barnes)
  • Number of Euro-candidates who won a prize for collecting the most data: one (congratulations Richard Davis)
  • Number of wonderfully friendly council by-election candidates encountered: one (Sushila Abraham, Berrylands ward in Kingston; details of how to help her are here)
