How to get the job of issuing a press release calling on yourself to change your own decision

Never let it be said that the worlds of politics and media are overly self-referential… but Joe Otten has spotted the wonderful story of the Labour press officer with the job of issuing a press release calling on himself to change a decision that he had made.

That’s what happens when you’re a councillor working for an MP who doesn’t agree with your own council group’s actions.

One response to “How to get the job of issuing a press release calling on yourself to change your own decision”

  1. incorrect use of reflexive pronouns here, Mark. The press release is doing the calling, not Joe Otten, so there is no need for a reflexive pronoun.
