The next edition of my monthly email newsletter about the Liberal Democrats will be about the lessons from Eastleigh for the party. It will also be the first to sport a new name for the newsletter: Liberal Democrat Newswire.

Many thanks to the newsletter readers who responded to my previous story about coming up with a name for it. Lots of suggestions were made and opinions voiced. Tempting as it was to go with one of the puns along the lines of “Politics Unpacked…” I’ve gone for the Ronseal ‘does what it says’ approach of Liberal Democrat Newswire.
