Six reasons for Liberal Democrats to have a spring in their step

Not a bad hit list of recent results for issues being pushed by Liberal Democrats in Parliament:

1. Snoopers’ Charter sunk
2. Millions of people have been receiving their first pay cheques of the 2013/14 tax year – and seeing the benefits of the latest round of income tax cuts the party has secured.
3. Libel law reformed
4. Royal Assent giving to dropping ‘insulting’ from offences under the Public Order Act
5. General duty to promote equality saved from abolition
6. The Green Investment Bank has just issued its first guarantee – for the conversion of Drax from a coal-fired power station to a biomass one.
