EBuzzing Top Lib Dem Blogs, July 2013: a good month to be Richard

Here are the Liberal Democrat entries in the top 100 political blogs as ranked by EBuzzing for July 2013.

In amongst lots of people dropping down or out, the Richards put in a creditable performance with one returning to the list and one moving up (Richard Davis and Richard Kemp, respectively). Good too to see Jonathan Calder back in the top 100, but the star mover this month is Zoe O’Connell, up 56 places.

Farewell, temporarily I hope, to the quartet of Haringey Liberal Democrats, Neil Monnery, Liberal Vision and Andrew George MP.

1 (5) Liberal Democrat Voice No change
2 (17) Mark Pack Down 7
3 (22) Zoe O’Connell Up 56
4 (36) Stephen Tall Down 12
5 (54) Jennie Rigg Down 15
6 (56) Paul Walter Down 5
7 (57) Alex Marsh Down 3
8 (63) Nick Thornsby Down 3
9 (67) Lynne Featherstone MP Down 21
10 (79) Mark Valladares (Liberal Bureaucracy) Down 13
11 (84) Richard Davis NEW
12 (87) Richard Morris (A View from Ham Common) Down 12
13 (88) Richard Kemp Up 8
14 (100) Jonathan Calder (Liberal England) NEW

Under EBuzzing’s methodology the overall profile of blogs that tend to support a particular party or cause can become a self-reinforcing cycle because the higher a blog rates the more its links to other blogs count, so those blogs in turn come out higher and hence any links from them back to the original blog count more driving that blog higher and so on.
