Pelican crossing needed at the crossroads of change

According to Gordon Brown today, “We have been standing at the crossroads of change for too long”.

Pardon me for asking, but isn’t the answer to install a pelican crossing so we can cross the crossroads safely?

P.S. Inside sources tell me that Liberal Democrat leader Ming Campbell will be launching his “roundabout of modernity” policy next week. It’s all go on the traffic flow front at the moment. Shame the same can’t be said about the M25.
