Sunday at Lib Dem conference: leadership gets past 2 crunch votes, but more loom on the economy

Glasgow: full of Liberal Democrats and full of foul weather outside. Inside, conference was rather cheery through the day – and the party’s leadership will be pleased that both the nuclear power and tuition fees votes went the way it wanted.
