Good news on civil liberties at Lib Dem conference

I spoke this morning in the debate at Liberal Democrat conference on reforming the 2000 Terrorism Act, made notorious by the David Miranda case.

The debate included an excellent and moving speech by Maajid Nawaz, who has himself been detained under these powers.
