What journalists did before Twitter

Via the great @RealTimeWWII tweets, which reposted news from the Second World War in real time plus 72 years, came this photo of the White House press corps, moments after being told of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

No phones to grab for a tweet, it’s a sprint to the phones instead.
