Fascinating to watch this nifty illustration of Europe’s changing borders:

  1. Beautiful!
It was my O and A level studies of British and Continental European history, Mediaeval 19th century, that convinced me in the mid sixties that we were right to be trying to join the European Communities, as the EU was then. Ever-increasing geographical and economic units are a historical inevitability.

  2. My only criticism and it is a minor one is that it goes too fast for you to capture all the subtleties in some places.
