My FPC attendance record

Aside from the delays in sending out ballot papers for the Liberal Democrat federal committee elections, the usual attendance figures for their members weren’t initially circulated. They are now being added to the online voting system, but as a bit of belt and braces, here are mine for the last two years:

  • Number of meetings held: 23
  • Number of meetings attended: 22 (1 meeting missed due to illness)

I think amongst the directly elected members (the group for whom these statistics are kept) only Evan Harris had a better attendance rate, making all 23 meetings.

(Simply turning up isn’t the same as doing a good job on a committee, but I think they are one piece of information to take into account. Of course, if you disagree, feel free to ignore this post completely, though I hope you’ll find useful the information in my FPC manifesto.)
