What would you do to make OMOV work?

Credit to the Federal Executive: the reaction to the amendment that Duncan Brack and I moved which took quite a few swings at the details of the FE’s proposals for one-member-one-vote (OMOV) has been to ask Duncan and I to be involved in a meeting to look at the next steps for implementing OMOV both at party conference and in the party’s federal committee elections.

I’ve got my own views (many of which were laid out in the amendment) but thinking about the issues since conference other points have come to mind, such as the way in which elections to the ALDE delegation are not fully integrated in our current rules. Plus since conference we’ve had the dreadful turnout figures for the last round of committee elections.

Hence my question: what other issues do you think need to be covered to make the party’s move to OMOV a success?
