Liberal Democrats gain council seat from SNP in last votes of 2020
This week Scotland brought us the last two council by-elections of 2020, both for Perth and Kinross Council.
Perth City North, Perth and Kinross
SNP HOLD Perth City North (Perth & Kinross) with 61.0% (+12.5) of 1st preference votes.
Full Results:
SNP: 61.0% (+12.5)
CON: 22.9% (-2.7)
LAB: 9.5% (-6.3)
LDM: 3.9% (+0.5)
GRN: 2.6% (+2.6)No INDs (-6.6) as previous.

Liz Barrett has taken a council seat off the SNP, making this the party’s first council by-election win since Ed Davey was elected party leader.
