Read about the Tooting Parliamentary Parliamentary by-election, held on 16 June 2016. Previous MP Sadiq Khan (Labour) triggered the by-election after he won election as Mayor of London.
It was won by Rosena Allin-Khan, the Labour Party candidate, with a majority of 6,357 over the Conservatives.
Alex Glassbrook was the Liberal Democrat candidate, finishing fourth with 2.6%.
